The visuals of the Four Seasons Jakarta certainly do not disappoint. The hotel was designed by internationally-renowned, New York-based interior designer Alexandra Champalimaud, a member of the Interior Design Hall of Fame. Champalimaud was inspired by Jakarta’s long history as an international trading port and Indonesia’s Dutch colonial period.

Its 125 suites feature neo-classical design, and they are as functional and comfortable as they are glamorous. Suite décor includes chinoiserie wall panels, Italian marble bathrooms, and original Indonesian artwork. The bedroom area is separated from the living area, allowing guests to maintain their privacy when entertaining or handling informal business.

After a hard day at work or a long day exploring Jakarta, guests can enjoy an array of delicious dining options. Start with breakfast in Palm Court, have an espresso or quick snack at Dolcetto café, indulge in a treat at La Patisserie, and finish your day with a nightcap at Nautilus Bar. Or, if you’re simply too comfortable in your room to leave, you can take advantage of In-Room Dining, available at any hour. Furthermore, in late 2016, the top floor of the hotel will feature home-style Italian fare against the backdrop of panoramic views of Jakarta.

Award-winning Capital Place offers a perfect setting for the new Four Seasons Jakarta. This city-within-a-city features two towers—one 52-story office tour and one hotel—and a connecting podium between then. The hotel is tucked behind the office tower, providing guests some tranquility from the buzz of the city. The connecting podium contains cafes, bars, and fine restaurants.

Rates start around S$350
