Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa

Location

Discover an island getaway that is Singapore's only beachfront hotel, Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa. Uniquely located right on Siloso beach, guests can enjoy their getaway in a tranquil oasis of coconut trees and peacocks roaming the grounds, while non stop fun in the sun is at their doorstep.

The resort's private stretch of sand offers loungers and beach volleyball courts while the Sea Sports Centre has kayaks and pedal boats to get a view of Siloso beach from the water.

A walk down the beach will bring you to the resort's Flying Trapeze where you can challenge your fears and hang upside down from a swinging bar (not as easy as it sounds) or try climbing the Rock Wall. Look up when you hear screaming in the middle of Siloso Beach to see people wizzing by on the extreme 450 meter long zip line by MegaZip Adventure Park. On this little stretch of beach there's enough heart pumping activities to keep any adrenaline junky happy and only a short walk, bike or tram ride away from the rest of Sentosa's thrills.

Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort Singapore Pool and Pool Bar

Resort

No resort is complete without an outdoor pool and Rasa Sentosa has two. One expansive pool for lounging or laps and one with water slides and a water playground. Both are natural water pools thanks to the use of a high tech filtration system allowing for minimal chlorine and maximum fun.

While lounging around the pool, take advantage of a roaming foot masseuse or step into the Rasa Spa for full body work.

When it comes time refuel, the fun doesn't have to stop with an extensive list of dining options and a must try Good Ol' Days of Singapore buffet with live performances every Tuesday night.

Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort Singapore Deluxe Sea View Suite - living room

For special occasions, the Deluxe Sea View Suites are ideal with a separate bedroom, living room with sofa bed,  and a large outdoor patio with private jacuzzi. An exclusive getaway we hear is very popular with party goers during ZoukOut in December.

Our Say

For families with children of any age, Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa is the ideal retreat. With all of the child friendly amenities, couples need not feel excluded as the spacious resort allows for plenty of room to relax and rejuvenate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-night stay in a 10th floor Panorama room. The beautiful view allowed us to see the whole stretch of Siloso Beach and out across the South China Sea. We could enjoy relaxing on the balcony without wasting energy as the air-conditioning automatically turned off when the patio door was opened. As a couple that appreciates efforts to minimise effects of the environment, Shangri-La hotels always win our hearts with their biodegradable bathroom products and ongoing efforts to minimise their impact. A big thank you to Rae from Shangri-La for making this stay possible.
