It's hard to wonder the streets of Vietnam without coming across one of these carts selling Vietnamese sandwiches. Yes, it is all mystery meat, but it is well worth a try especially at less than $0.50 a sandwich. Still suspicious? We had multiple sandwiches over several days from different vendors and didn't get sick, the trick is to look for the busy carts as the meat will be fresher. A tip for vegetarians out there, they will also be happy to whip up an egg version for you instead.
