Singapore’s Best Bars At Breath Taking Heights

Singapore is a beautiful city and full of lounges boasting beautiful views of the city. Here is our low down on the best places in Singapore to enjoy a drink from breath taking heights.

new asia bar

New Asia Bar

The original go to place to have a drink and enjoy the view of Singapore, this bar is located on the 71st floor of the Swissotel Stamford. With drink specials from 3pm - 9pm and no cover before 9pm, New Asia Bar is our pick for Best Value for Money. This place is a hot spot for the after work crowd and turns into a night club later in the night. The only draw back is the beam in the window that is at eye level on the lower floor, but duck below it or look over it and you're fine.

1 altitude

1 Altitude

1 Altitude has the Best View of Singapore, from this bar you actually look down on Marina Bay Sands and Swissotel Stamford offering a 360 degree view of the city. This place is incredible, not only is the view amazing, the rooftop bar is surrounded by glass railings so you look straight out to the city with no obstructions. The cover of $30 includes a drink which is not a bad price for such an amazing view. Look out for the red lights around the bar that go off when there is too much electricity in the air indicating chances for lighting strikes and your cue to move inside.

KuDeTa

KuDeTa

Singapore's KuDeTa located at the top of Marina Bay Sands brings the coolness of it's sister location in Bali to whole new heights. This destination offers a restaurant, poolside lounge, bar and viewing area. There is only a cover charge of Fridays, Saturdays and eve of Public holidays after 9pm so when comparing it to the fee of $20 just to go up and walk around the next door viewing deck, we prefer to have a drink while enjoying the view instead. Our pick for the Best Alternative to the Singapore Flyer.

Salt restaurant and sky bar

Salt restaurant & Sky bar

This breathtaking restaurant and bar is located at the top of Ion Orchard mall and is accessed from the 3rd floor of the mall. Your journey to the top is a treat in itself with a mystical elevator ride to the 55th floor. A few steps from the elevator and your senses are overloaded by an unobstructed view of the city through 2 story high glass walls. The bar past the restaurant is perfect to enjoy cocktails while reveling over the incredible view. Best City Experience
