For a casual bowl of high quality noodles along Siloso Beach, 8 Noodles at Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa is the place to go. The restaurant decorated with yellow walls, wood slat ceiling and traditional café style table and chairs is located on the third floor of the resort over looking gardens with the occasional peacock passing by.
The menu is full of a variety of different bowls of noodles, including the chef's recommendation of Prawn Wanton Noodles.
Laksa (S$14.80++)
During my visit I tried their Laksa. Made with quails eggs, full prawns and large slices of tofu, this is not a typical bowl of hawker centre Laksa. Instead it has the familiar Laksa flavour along with thick white noodles.
Fish Udon in Herbal Soup (S$14.80++)
My friend Rae from Shangri-La joined me for lunch, introducing me to this little café. Rae, an obvious regular to this spot, had the Fish Udon in Herbal Soup. The Udon is made of fish paste in a clear, aromatic herbal broth.
Besides our dishes there are many more delectable bowls of noodles and Chinese roast meats to try, making for a great quick lunch or light dinner at Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort and Spa.
