The yearly best restaurant list put together by theworlds50best.com is out and Asia has 7 restaurants that made the list. Thailand and Tokyo each have 2 restaurants on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list while Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong each have one.

Based on the list, we've rounded up Asia's best restaurants in 2016 so you know where to go on your next trip.

#8 Narisawa - Tokyo Japan

At the top of Asia's best restaurants 2016 is Narisawa in Tokyo, Japan. Chef Yoshihiro Narisawa started his career in Europe under some notable chefs including Joël Robuchon. Now he is serving Innovative Satoyama, a term coined by himself. Expect dishes made with mostly Japanese and sustainable ingredients displayed in artful ways.

#20 Amber - Hong Kong

Inside the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Culinary director Richard Ekkebus delivers contemporary cuisine with a spotlight on seasonal produce at Amber. He not only looks over the front and back of house cuisine in Hong Kong, he is also responsible for culinary direction of Fifty 8 Degrees Grill at Mandarin Oriental Pudong in Shanghai.

#23 Gaggan - Bangkok Thailand

No stranger to the World's 50 Best Restaurant's list, Gaggan stands out with its 19-part tasting menu 'The Gaggan Experience' and its unique interpretations of Indian cuisine. Housed in a colonial home the restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy inventive dishes.

#31 Nihonryori Ryugin - Tokyo, Japan

With a menu that changes daily, it's hard to know exactly what you'll get at Nihonryori Ryugin, but you can be sure it will be fresh Japanese cuisine. Signature dishes include ‘A Message from the Coast of Japan’ and ‘Sanuki Wagyu Beef and Matsutake Mushrooms in Toban Sukiyaki.’

#32 Restaurant André- Singapore

Taiwan-born and French-trained chef André Chiang serves French nouvelle style food centred around eight elements of gastronomy that inspire him:  salt, texture, memory, pure, terroir, south, artisan and unique. The dishes are seasonal and the restaurant is closed when André travels so reservations are a must.

#37 nahm - Bangkok, Thailand

Australian chef David Thompson's restaurant Nahm delights guests with traditional Thai cuisine inside the Metropolitan Hotel in Bangkok. Expect spicy curries, amuse bouches, and a variety of seafood, meat and veggies.

#42 Ultraviolet by Paul Pairet - Shanghai, China

Last on the list of Asia's best restaurants 2016 is Ultraviolet by Paul Pairet. This theatrical dining experience like non other, seats only 10 guests per night. Diners are treated to an evening that delights all senses with video, audio, lighting and of course taste.  The menu rotates between a 'UVA' and 'UVB' menu, with a 'UVC' menu said to be coming soon.
