June 2 2014 - Hilton has announced the roll out of a new Hilton brand, Curio – A Collection by Hilton. The new brand is set to embrace the boutique hotel concept, with each of its properties having its own unique identity. Starting with 4 hotels in U.S., the first one to launch being SLS Las Vegas on the grounds of the former Sahara Hotel & Resort.
SLS Las Vegas is being touted as a high-style collaboration between Philippe Starck and James Beard Foundation award-winning chef José Andrés. The 2.5 million square foot development will feature a mixed-use resort and casino with more than 1,620 guest rooms and suites.
