If you’re looking for high end with high value while in Bali, look no further then The Haven Hotel and Suites. Situated in the bustling area of Seminyak this new hotel has 5 star amenities without the cost. The hotel is split into two parts, one side being the Hotel with a long sun filled pool and loungers while the suites side boast a longer, more sheltered pool with huge luxurious double loungers for all the couples and honeymooners.
While here we were upgraded to a small suite which was perfect. Immaculate with a large flat screen TV, nice balcony, king sized bed and best of all a frosted glass walled bathroom separating the shower from the room.
Although The Haven is about a 10 minute walk from the beach it’s still a perfect location for exploring the endless shops and restaurants in the area. To make up for the distance they offer a shuttle service 3-4 times a day which brings you to The Havens private plot of beachfront with loungers, umbrellas and towels for your use. This more then made up for the distance from the beach because these were lush beach beds compared to the ones you usually pay for on the beach. Best of all there's no haggling or cost involved.
To top this all off, the staff were above and beyond friendly and the included buffet breakfast is to die for, including a salad and fruit bar, every type of bread and pastry you could imagine, of course hot foods like grilled mushrooms and hash browns, and best of all Chefs making fresh to order pancakes, eggs any style and hot off the grill bacon and sausages along with all the accompaniments.
The Haven also has a first class spa which is a bit more then the ones on the street but for the attentiveness of the staff and cleanliness and tranquillity of the spa it was more then worth the money.
The Haven was a very memorable stay and exceptional value for money.
