With the opening of a new hotel, comes new restaurants to try out. Hotel Jen Orchardgateway, the new Shangri-la brand replacing Traders, introduces us to [email protected], their all-day-dining restaurant and [email protected] for high-tea and cocktails. Here are 4 ways you can try out [email protected] and a bonus 2 ways to enjoy [email protected]
Feast on the weekend with [email protected]’s seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. At only $55++ per person, it’s great value considering the quality seafood selection including my favourite – snow crab legs! Also look out for a huge pan of seafood paella, chilli and black pepper crab, lobster, oysters, baked salmon and fresh seafood that can be cooked the way you like it.
Besides seafood, try the selection of dim sum, roast duck, salad station and of course the dessert station. Indulge on 8 different ice cream flavours, chilled cakes and pies including a yummy cheese cake, and cute little ‘J’ treats that make for good Instagram photos.
From Sunday to Thursday, the buffet lineup at [email protected] focuses on local and international dishes. Be sure to try their signature laksa with river prawns and laksa fried rice. Available for dinner at S$40++ between 6.30 to 10 pm.
High Tea Buffet
For a weekend fuel up between shopping spots, stop by [email protected] between 12:30 and 3pm for a high tea buffet that focuses on classic and current local delights. $30++. Available on Saturdays and Sundays.
Here’s a deal too good to pass up. Enjoy a main course at only $9.90++ at [email protected] and get the option to top-up $5 for an appetiser buffet and $5 for a dessert buffet. Available Monday to Friday.
[email protected] offers a cool space to relax with great views over Orchard Road. From 2.30 to 4.30 pm daily, try out their afternoon tea for 2 at $28++ inclusive of free flow of one selection of specialty coffee/tea with Chef’s assorted pastries.
Between 5 to 7.30 pm at [email protected], enjoy free flow of finger foods like cheese and baguette with the purchase of a drink. With a glass of wine or beer starting at $10++ it’s already a good deal.
