Not only is the hotel known for its luxurious accommodation, but also its fine restaurants. The Saskies brothers that are behind the original hotel, also established sister hotels Raffles Hotel in Singapore and Stand Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar.

Visitors have a choice of rooms in the original Heritage wing or the new Victory Annex wing. With a prime location along the water in Georgetown, the hotel is a popular attraction in Penang.
