Florence is home to many designer labels including the fashion powerhouse Gucci. If full price designer labels don't fit your wallet, maybe the designer outlets will. Choose from outlet malls dotted around Florence including The Barberino Designer Outlet and The Mall. We stopped by The Mall which has over 20 high end designer outlet stores including Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo, Dior, Burberry, Armani and many more.
Expect last year's designs at discounts of 40% or more. Some are in perfect condition while some items might come with slight imperfections. You can ask if they're rejects or just last year's styles. Around The Mall are a few different outlets to stop by including Fashion Valley and a stand alone D&G factory outlet.

If you want to save money, wouldn’t it be better to go to leather designers’ shops in Florence city center where products are made by not famous – very skilled designers (and if you buy one you will be the one in the world to have that product) instead of paying a fortune for industrial products with imperfections just because of their brand name (where if you buy one you will be the one with the discarded article)??
That would be nice too! To each their own.
One of the things I loved most about Florence, was shopping at the local merchants and famous designers in an afternoon. How cool is that? I got a great deal on an otherwise out of budget Salvatore Ferragamo suit. Perfetto!!
