It's December, which means it's time for a month of nonstop food indulgences. We stopped by Clifford at The Fullerton Bay Hotel to try out what Chef Sandro Falbo has planned for the month.
The holiday celebrations at Clifford start with a four-course degustation festive dinner menu from 27 November to 23 December. Part of the menu is a choice of traditional Christmas fare like Carved Turkey with Stuffing, Chestnut, Brussels Sprouts, Braised Cabbage and Giblet Gravy or non traditional fare like Vin Blanch Poached Turbot and other delights. We tried the Vin Blanch Poached Turbot and devoured every bite.
On Christmas Day, dinners can enjoy a Christmas Day six-course degustation dinner. Highlights to look forward to include Seared Scallops in Saffron Sauce with Caviar, Cognac Lobster Bisque with Lobster Ravioli and a Chocolate Raspberry dessert, made with Dark Chocolate Manjari 64%. The seared scallops stole the show for us. Not only beautifully presented they tasted just as good as they looked. The sauce was so divine, we could have enjoyed it on its own as a soup.
Ring in the New Year at Clifford by dinning on the New Year's Eve seven-course degustation dinner. Guests not only enjoy a meal which includes Seared Langoustine with Celeriac and Citrus Chive Jelly and Wagyu Beef Carpaccio laced with Parmesans Crisp and Cepes, they can also join the Countdown Party and fireworks viewing at The Landing Point.
Four-course degustation festive dinner menu is available from 27 November to 23 December at $95++ per person, or $268++ per couple inclusive of free flow Champagne.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day six-course degustation dinner is priced at $198++ per person or $498++ per couple inclusive of a bottle of Champagne.
New Year's Eve seven-course degustation dinner is priced at $298++ per person or $796++ per couple inclusive of a bottle of Champagne.
