Kaili’s Fish Market Café – Succulent Seafood along Fremantle’s Waterfront

Kailis Fremantle Fish Market Cafe

Fremantle's waterfront is lined with seafood restaurants and dining options. After seeing a photo of a big BBQ seafood platter with all of the seafood we could possibly want on 1 plate, we decided to head to Kailis' Fish Market Café for to try their famous BBQ Seafood Platter ($72.50 AUD). Inside Kailis' are 2 dining options, the more fast food type spot with fried foods and fish and chips, then Kailis' Fish Market that displays all of it's fresh seafood options on ice. Here you can choose from fresh fish, crab, lobster, mussels, oysters and more, then have them barbecue it up.

With our minds already made up, we ordered the BBQ Seafood Platter and headed to a wood picnic table outside. The seafood platter came with barbecued prawns, half a lobster, squid, 2 fish kebabs and 4 raw oysters set on a stack of french fries with a side salad. All barbecued with the right amount of seasoning and flavour there was no need for extra sauces. Between the two of us, we managed to finish all of the seafood, but left a decent pile of fries. A delicious way to try a variety of seafood at once. Next time we will have to try their multi award winning fish and chips.
