The Pool of Your Dreams at Padma Resort Ubud

Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud is the tranquil and picturesque escape of Padma Resort Ubud. The lush green jungles and manicured gardens which surround the resort block out all hints of the outside world. Here you can rest and unwind amongst nature while never getting bored. Padma Resort Ubud offers daily activities, Ubud’s longest and might I add prettiest infinity pools along with gorgeously large rooms, a gym, day spa and so much more.

Activities at Padma Resort Ubud

Padma Resort Ubud Pool

It’ll be hard to pull yourself away from the stunning instagram worthy infinity pool, with its jungle views, swim up bar and ofcourse sun loungers. However for those who can only sun worship for so long you’ll be happy to discover there are plenty of activities and places to explore in and around the resort.

The 1.5km jogging track (you can walk it as well of course) will take you through a bamboo jungle, down to a shallow creek bed and across a wooden bridge. Leave the headphones off and enjoy the pleasant sounds of the native wildlife or stop along the way to take a seat in one of the bamboo huts, a perfect spot to clear your mind.

Padma Resort Ubud also offers a free daily activity schedule which includes yoga 3 times a day, bike rides to the rice fields as well as rotating activities such as village tours, balinese conversation, agroforestry and various kids activities such as scavenger hunts.

If for some crazy reason you miss the sound of traffic, there’s also a free shuttle to take you into central Ubud where you can spend the day at popular visitor sites like the Monkey forrest.

For a small extra cost you can also enjoy cooking and mixology classes, wine tasting and  jungle trekking. There’s also a kids club and small pool area to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy a bit of me time.

There’s also a spa for pampering yourself and gym for those looking to work up a sweat while still taking in views of the beautiful surroundings.

When the sun goes down, cozy up next to the fire pit with roasted marshmallows and cups of hot chocolate or enjoy a cocktail or 2 in the lounge.

Every morning you can start your day with an impressive buffet spread of local and international fare in the Puhu Restaurant. Design your own fresh juice or pick a juice of the day, order eggs just the way you like and experience delicious local delights all while taking in magnificent 180 degree views over the resort and out to the forest.

Padma Resort Ubud also serves up a tasty complimentary afternoon tea where you can enjoy a light snack of local treats, a bowl of steaming bakso (Indonesian meat ball soup) and of course a nice cup of coffee or tea.

For lunch, dinner or anything in-between, take your pick from light snacks at The Lounge, pool side dining on fresh salads, fruit smoothies or something a bit heartier like pizzas, burgers, pastas or Indonesian fare. Otherwise you can head back up to Puhu Restaurant for a more specialised and extensive Balinese and Indonesian menu and a range of international dishes as well.

If you’re after a more intimate or romantic setting for your evening meal you can organise a themed dinner such as a jungle BBQ or romantic candle lit dinner in the Bale Bamboo. Wine lovers, can spend their afternoons at the lounge and taste wines from a local vineyard with a tasting of 3 different wines.
