A short stroll down JL Petitenget, will bring you past one of a kind boutique shops selling fine clothing, designer home accessories and hand made bath products commonly designed by resident designers and entrepreneurs. Besides shopping, this street has one of my favorite spas, Amo spa. This cute spa is a great alternative to the resort spas, as it’s easily a quarter of the price and is still able to deliver high quality services, in a nice and clean setting. The spa offers massages starting at 150,000 RP, manicures & pedicures, and even full waxing services which can be hard to find in Indonesia.
For dining, Biku restaurant is a must when visiting Jalan Petitenget. The beautiful restaurant serves Indonesian cuisine, a blend of different western dishes, and a large selection of gourmet tea and afternoon tea snacks. The food is superb and the prices won’t break the bank.
Besides unique shops and restaurants, this street is the gateway to the incredibly popular Potato Head Beach Club, the trendiest new beach club in Bali and a great way to spend the afternoon. If spending a few hours enjoying Potato Head Beach Club isn’t enough, right next door is another great beach front hangout, Woo Bar at the W Hotel.
