CNY Feasting at PARKROYAL on Beach Road

CNY Reunion Dinner at PARKROYAL on Beach Road

As many families and friends are gearing up for reunion dinners and celebratory feasting as the Luna New Year approaches, PARKROYAL on Beach Road has prepared a special line up for CNY feasting. Choose from a Prosperity Buffet Feast in Plaza Brasserie or a Chinese New Year Set Dinner in the Banquet Ballroom from 28 January to 24 February 2013.

Prosperity Buffet Feast at Plaza Brasserie

No CNY dinner is complete without Yu Sheng and Chef Jackson has created his own unique twist with his Fruit-full Yu Sheng. A mix of mandarin oranges, peaches, rose apples, rock melon, dried persimmons, green mango, papaya, salmon sashimi and flavoured with cinnamon and other flavours. It's a delicious variation that is as much fun to eat as it is to toss.

The delectable dishes continue with Eight Treasures Boneless Duck, Peng Cai, Hong Kong-Style Steamed Garoupa, Stir-fried Prawns in Butter Sauce, and Fried Mee Sua. The Garoupa is perfectly fluffy, while the prawns, duck and Mee Sua are full of flavour.

Other highlight of the Prosperity Buffet include Braised Long Cabbage with Dried Scallops, Chili Crab, Poached "Live" Prawns with Chinese Wine, Beef with Spicy Sauce, Braised Pork Knuckle with Dried Oyster and Black Moss, Crispy Roasted BBQ Pork, Roast Duck and Soy Chicken, Oatmeal Prawns, Eight Treasure Sticky Rice, Fish Maw Soup with Shredded Abalone or Fish Maw Soup with Crab Meat and Sea Cucumber, Fried Hong Kong Noodles, Golden Fried Rice with Crabmeat and Spring Onions, Stir Fried Asparagus with Crabmeat in "XO" Sauce, Diced Chicken with Leek, Mushrooms and Sweet Peas, Braised Sea Cucumber with Roasted Pork and Stir Fried King Prawns with Spicy Prawns.

At the Chef's live station guests can select a Mini Peng Chai featuring special ingredients such as fish maw, prawns, sea cucumber, sliced abalone, roast duck, chicken, pork cabbage and black moss.

For dessert choose from Glutinous Rice Balls in Peanut Soup and Nian Gao, or a variety of Chinese New Year Goodies including Pineapple Tartlets, Love Letters, Lotus and Red Date Candies, Almond Cookies, Lotus Seed Candies, Walnut Cookies, Durian Nian Gao with Bak Kua, Traditional Egg Tartlets and Lapis Cake. Enough variety to make deciding on what to fill your stomach with a very tough task.
