The Majestic Hotel – A Reinvented Icon

[wzslider autoplay="true" info="true"]

A Kuala Lumpur icon has reemerged after decades of slumber into a grand hotel preserving the beauty of Hotel Majestic from the '30s and introducing a 15 storey tower of contemporary rooms, suites, meeting and function space. The Majestic Hotel blends traditional and contemporary elements to create a truly unique experience.

In the restored Majestic Wing architect Zaidan Tahir transports guests to the hotel's heyday by keeping the traditional charm of the hotel. The all suite wing is decorated in traditional finishings with a highlight being the very art deco bathrooms in the rooms. A visit to the Colonial Café and diners can enjoy colonial cuisine created by Hainanese chefs with music typical to the era being played on the grand piano. Enjoy classic cocktails at The Bar or afternoon tea in The Tea Lounge.

In the new Tower Wing guests enjoy the most stylish rooms with a bathroom to die for. A freestanding tub with built in TV above means you can catch up on your favourite shows while covered in bubbles. Also in the tower wing is Contango, a 250 person restaurant with open show kitchens serving both Eastern and Western cuisine. Mixing history with present day, the result is a hotel where old memories can be relived and new memories formed.
